South Perrott is a village and civil parish in northwest Dorset, England, 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Crewkerne. The name Perrott comes from the River Parrett. The manor was held with North Perrott just over the border in Somerset. Immediately south of the church are some earthworks, the remains of the moated enclosures of Mohun Castle. A geophysical survey of this site was undertaken in 1996.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England had now published a draft recommendation for Dorset council that has launched today. These are also available on their website at: https://www.lgbce.org.uk/all-reviews/dorset.
To enable Dorset Council to carry out essential highway maintenance works, they plan to close Lecher Lane, South Perrott between 12th and 13th November 2026.
