Proposed temporary closure of Picket Lane, South Perrott - 28th September- 7th October2026

Dorset Council have received an application from National Grid to close PICKET LANE, SOUTH PERROTT between its junction with
Manor Close and Bellamy Farm, a distance of approximately 65 metres. The closure has been requested to allow
National Grid to carry out a supply upgrade. These works are programmed to commence from 28 September
2026 until 07 October 2026.
National Grid will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this
area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by
the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the
extent of the closure and the diversion route.
